Bulugh al-Maram 697بلوغ المرام 697
وَعَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { أَخَذَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَنْ لَا نَنُوحَ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 1306 )، ومسلم ( 936 ).
Umm ‘Atiyah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made us pledge that we will not wail. Agreed upon.
