Umdat al-Ahkam (al-Maqdisi) 335عمدة الأحكام 335
عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما قال: «كنا نعزل والقرآن ينزل، لو كان شيئا ينهى عنه لنهانا عنه القرآن».
Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: We used to practise 'azl while the Qur'an was revealed (during the days when the Prophet was alive).
