Umdat al-Ahkam (al-Maqdisi) 379عمدة الأحكام 379
عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكرة رضي الله عنهما قال: «كتب أبي - أو كتبت له - إلى ابنه عبد الله بن أبي بكرة وهو قاض بسجستان: أن لا تحكم بين اثنين وأنت غضبان. فإني سمعت رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقول: لايحكم أحد بين اثنين وهو غضبان». وفي رواية: «لا يقضين حاكم بين اثنين وهو غضبان».
Narrated `Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakra: Abu Bakra wrote to his son who was in Sijistan: 'Do not judge between two persons when you are angry, for I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "A judge should not judge between two persons while he is in an angry mood."
